December 9th

My son is my son.  I say that because he is like me in so many ways.

I don't like to be cold, but don't mind being hot.  I also tend to like new shirts, jackets, etc...

Ryan got a new hoodie jacket a couple days ago and has been wearing it everywhere.  Today it was 76 degrees outside, but the hoodie was there all day.

December 8th

I love living in the desert.  Today I wore shorts and a T-shirt almost all day.  Even played in the water a bit.

12 "Days" to Better Photographs--Day 2 Shutter Speed/ISO

I enjoyed taking time today to just tinker a bit with the camera and learn more.  Took some photos of the water outside to play with shutter speed and ISO on the shutter speed priority mode.

Second one with 1/1600

December 7th

Tonight the Lego Store in the mall (about 40 minutes away) had a free build project for the kids to do, so I took the two older ones and headed to the mall.  We had to wait about 40 minutes, but the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.  Ry was very focused and didn't even want to leave the line to look at the kiosks with his sister. He quite enjoyed his lego building.

December 6th

God gave us two kids that HATE to be messy and dirty.

The third on the other hand...

That's mud.

December 5th

Today's picture needed to be taken at night, with church activities and napping getting in the way of any additional photos.

This wreath I bought for Rachelle and a matching one for her mom a few years back when they were having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit.  It hangs prominently in the foyer now and we tell the kids every year about it.

December 4th

We are blessed to have kids that love to read.  I don't feel like we've done anything special, just read to them often.

They even start early.
